L'Aquàrium de Barcelona

L'Aquàrium de Barcelona is a recreational and educational marine center that aims to defend and remind us of the importance of the sea, and the organisms that live in it, in the development of life on our planet. As the Mediterranean Marine Conservation Center and the most important center for Mediterranean-themed activities, it is a privileged place to learn about the seas and oceans by strolling through more than 80 Mediterranean and tropical aquariums, home to 11,000 specimens of more than 600 different species. It also has a spectacular Oceanarium, where a transparent tunnel over 80 meters long will bring you closer to different types of sharks, moray eels, and many other species.
In 2025, coinciding with the celebration of its 30th anniversary, L'Aquàrium de Barcelona has been transformed, incorporating new technologies to impact, educate, and influence all its visitors to marine conservation. With a new immersive room that transports you to the depths of the ocean and new interactive spaces and games, visiting L' Aquàrium is now more exciting and impressive than ever.
