The Castelltallat Astronomical Observatory is a facility dedicated to the outreach of astronomy and celestial sciences.
Open year-round, it offers two-hour sessions every weekend, featuring an introductory talk and naked-eye as well as telescopic observations.
It frequently organizes Themed Nights focusing on specific phenomena: the Perseid meteor shower, the Moon, planetary conjunctions, eclipses, and more.
On the first Sunday morning of each month, it hosts the "Observing the Sun" activity.
The observatory also runs school programs throughout the academic year.
It holds the "Quality Night Sky Space" distinction, awarded by the Catalan Government’s Department of the Environment.
Located in the Serra of Castelltallat, it sits in a stunning natural setting.
