With experience in large hotel chains, Hugo Bertrand, CEO & founder, decided to present an economical and cosmopolitan alternative to the existing hotel offer in Barcelona, in this way chic&basic emerged.

On Paseo Picasso street you will find chic&basic zoo, in a classic building from 1929, but with an industrial-inspired interior. This hotel, near the Barcelona zoo, with a unique atmosphere, with designer rooms in the cosmopolitan center of the city in the Born district.
